Adds warmth

I definitely noticed an added layer of warmth when I wear this vs. when I don't have it on. My primary purpose for getting this is for running, but I get really warm while running anyway. But one cold (windy, 30 degrees fahrenheit day in NYC winter) I wore this under my winter coat and got hot, later in the day I didn't wear it and didn't warm up nearly as much.

Breathable and flattering

This is so much better than quarter zips two or three times the price! I'm really picky about how fabrics feel and this feels like a cloud against your skin and is so breathable, while being natural material instead of some strange mix of polyester and who knows what. I bought it for skiing as a base layer but this may be my new work from home uniform. I'm between a M and L and glad I got the large so that it's not 'stick to you' tight and I can easily wear a tank underneath.

Better than pictured

Love the stitching, the shoulders are defined (not sloped but a nice cut to them, and it's lightweight and SO warm.
