it smells terrible

After waiting months, two rugs arrived. The other is fine - though very rough , not a soft feel at all. This (Winslow) rug smelled and still smells terrible. Cannot be used. It has been sitting, open, in a garden shed for many weeks - since it arrived - hoping it will off-gas whatever is in it. But it still stinks. I have received 3 rugs from quince, the other 2 were fine. It is a chemically smell... really can't describe it, it is horrible.
