It is perfect! I have been wanting a tote like this but not from Madewell .. it is a rigid leather at maybe first of second wear but it gets softer and prettier over time! the shipping was fast from Italy also. Very happy about my purchase!

Great bag, even better value!

I love this tote. It is exactly what I’ve been looking for. Great size, great color. Stiff enough that it doesn’t tip over easily. Easy to see all of my items. And the extra long strap is nice bonus. A magnetic closure would have been nice, but not a dealbreaker in my book. My first purchase, but it won’t be my last.

bought this as a gift for my sister's birthday. came super quickly all the way from florence, looks very nicely made. it is a stiff leather, not soft/pebbled. fits her macbook and several notebooks. I liked that it didn't look like the madewell/everlane totes that everyone has
